My First NFT!
This last week was a roller-coaster. I went from basically not knowing what is an NFT is, to participating in an exhibition that sold over $500k of digital art in a week!
Taking some time to digest the events of last week, having the chance to take a week to understand this ecosystem better, and think about how I can include this new technology into my own art practice.
Usually doodling on my iPad was a waste of time, there was no way I could monetize my digital creations. But now I feel like leverage these digital art pieces I do in my free time and even go a step forward, making them into short-format animated pictures.
I’m still trying to make sense out of this whole NFT idea, but I’m keen on making connections and generating a enviroment to discuss this new technology amongst artists.
If you feel like you would like to know more about this, be sure to leave me your email and I’ll invite you to our upcoming NFT discussion groups.
What is an NFT?
Basically an NFT is a way to asociate your digital files with a certificate of authenticity to a digital file. This way, digital creators can now offer their works as limited edition works.
